Tom Douglas opened Cuoco almost a year ago, but it was our first time to give it a try. Being there encouraged me to try my hand at homemade pasta again.
We timed our hike perfectly, everyone must have been doing an egg hunt then.
Our friends invited us over to decorate Easter eggs. This was my first time to do something like this, so Cameron and I produced this adorable little couple. We arose early before church to enjoy our annual Easter breakfast. This year I kept it simple with a Strawberry Clafouti.
After church and in between dinner prep we took a long walk in the sunshine.
Our first dinner party out on the deck.
In order to kick off Spring, I like to make this Old fashion berry cake.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend.

Wow, that cake looks amazing! I'm going to have to try that. And your backyard is adorable. Don't worry about my blog hiatus, I'm about to get caught up. We took a trip to Utah, so I've been preparing and unwinding from it all. xoxo!
Wow! I loved your Easter table decor outside. And the berry cake and strawberry clafouti looks so delicious. I just printed off the Clafouti one and will try it.
The clafouti is such an easy recipe to make, but people always think you spent a ton of time when the name sounds fancy. Let me know how you like it.
