it feels like summer....

Whenever we have blue skies and sunshine for any length of time longer than one day, there is a an excitement in the air that you can feel. We have endured too much gray, are too vitamin d deficient, which leads us to do seemingly absurd things like wear shorts and flip flops once the thermometer breaks 65 degrees. Let's face it, 70 degrees is our idea of perfection, which to some is your idea of winter. Case in point, a week ago someone asked me if I had some chocolate on my upper lip, I retraced they day and could not remember eating any such treat, so I went into the bathroom to check out the situation. Lo and behold it was a small cluster of freckles......freckles, such a strange concept only a side effect from a friend we have not seen in many months- the sun.Yesterday was perfect, I spent so much time outdoors I actually got a little sunburned, I mean tan. How kind it was of the nice weather to coincide with my day off. I ran, I walked, but the best part was that I surprised Cameron by riding the bus downtown, picnic basket in hand. We frittered away the evening walking around the Sculpture Park and then topped the night off with a ride up the Space Needle. As the sunset over the city, I pondered how although I do not have the perfect life, I do on many occasions have a perfect day and that I am the luckiest girl I know.
