Exploring close to home

We have a tendency to not spend a ton of time exploring our own neighborhood. We are oftentimes up in the mountains or off on day trips when we have time off. As of late, we have stayed closer to home and have been pleasantly surprised by the bounty of good food and friendly people. We enjoyed the roasted chicken crepe at Firefly Creperie and most notably we were finally able to take part in a monthly regional dinner at La Toscanella with our dear friends. We took a culinary four course adventure through the Dolomites and it really made me want to plan a real life trip to the stunningly beautiful region.
