Weekend Getaway: Ruby Beach

Ruby Beach is the northernmost of the southern beaches in the coastal section of Olympic National Park. It is 27 miles south of the infamous town of Forks, Washington. We decided to stop here on our way home from Seabrook, but it would also make the perfect weekend getaway. I have seen spectacular shots of this beach at sunset, so next time I hope to time it just right.

There are massive outcroppings and plenty of space to explore.
We were here in the middle of the day and had the place virtually to ourselves.

Stacking rocks is always fun entertainment.
Beautiful bluffs.
My scarf kept me nice and warm, but it also swallowed my neck.
I love a good silhouette shot.

Remember, to enter in win the Rachel Austin print giveaway.

I wish I knew about this place when we stayed out at Seabrook a few years ago, it's gorgeous!

P.S. I emailed you after the meetup, did ya get it?

Hi Lisette...I read about your story at Laura's and I LOVE the idea of the diapers for Tiny Tears. My husband and I lost two daughters years ago....and each time I begged the hospital to please put something on my baby besides a hospital blanket. I didn't get to hold my little ones, they didn't do that back then...but I think this is so wonderful. And I pray the Lord SOON gives you the desire of your heart. We were blessed with two children...who now have children!!
