Day trip: Coupeville, WA

Over the past couple of years we have spent a fair amount of time visiting Coupeville. Although, there is not a ton to do in this small town, we have stumbled upon this awesome place to eat called Knead and Feed and eating there alone is pretty much worth the drive. Clipper Vacations offers a whale watching tour which stops in Coupeville for a couple of hours. This would give you plenty of time to grab lunch, shop the local gallery and eat an ice cream cone or two.

It seems every time we go the tide is really low.
Take a look at that sandwich! They do not mess around with their homemade bread or soups.
Chocolate Chip Macadamia cookie AMAZING!!

Coupeville is where the infamous Penn Cove mussels come from. As you head out of town you can see the mussel farms off in the distance.
