Puzzles and Pondering

Last night we spent the evening searching for border pieces, pieces with bits of orange or blue and pieces with flowers on it and managed to fit what we could together. The whole process made me think how each one of us at the table are like pieces to one grand puzzle. It reminded me of my years dating and how oftentimes through those years I found myself trying to force two pieces together whether through mismatched relationships or friendships that would never stand the test of time. Now comfortably paired, I no longer set off on a solo mission, but try to add to the puzzle through fostering rich friendships and making ourselves through these associations more than we could ever be alone. I am grateful for all those people who enrich my life, accept me and desire to spend time with me. Over time, my puzzle will become something of a masterpiece, and you never know maybe one day I will modge podge it and hang it on my wall, that is if it matches my pillow shams.

Dang! I think you just stole Lynn's theme for her talk/Sunday school lesson. She's going to be MAD! Also, I didn't know you dated anyone other than me............

okay, that is so funny!!! you can tell it's been a busy week at work as I haven't checked out any blogs lately. loved your unique take on the puzzle analogy, so no worries here... but has Cameron forgiven you for not being your first date??

And yes, we completed the puzzle on Friday night... so no our lives are perfect!
