The big birthday bash weekend

We just got back from a fun filled weekend long celebration for Cameron’s Grandma’s 90th birthday. It was a unique opportunity for Cameron’s entire family to be together- all thirty of us. There was food, conversation and plenty of adorable photography subjects. I especially enjoyed the sincere love and concern everyone has for each other. It makes my heart full to see their complete and utter acceptance of me into their family. On Saturday Cameron’s immediate family headed into San Francisco to hit all the tourist hot spots. Saturday night was the big birthday bash at El Patio where everyone had the opportunity to express how they have been impacted by Grandma Maurine throughout the years. There were a few tears, lots of smiles and fond memories shared. On Sunday we had the rare opportunity to attend church all together as a family. This weekend reaffirmed my belief that families are forever and showed me unconditional love in action. Our only regret is that we do not get together often enough. Come visit Seattle- it will not rain we promise.

Lisette! I got my Jeffrey Campbell shoes this weekend! The ones you liked... they are amazing.

Also, your new yellow bag looks way snazzy.

Also, i bought a bag of live clams at the farmers market yesterday. for a few hours i thought about taking them and releasing them back into the sea. i felt really bad. but then i cooked them.

Erin-

Lucky girl, I am excited to see your shoes on that new blog of yours :) You are funny, I would feel the exact same way if I bought something alive like crab, I mean I do not think I could put into a pot of hot water- Cameron would have to. When we cut up our Christmas tree I feel like a murderer as it is.

Wow, that sounds like a ton of fun! My family doesn't stretch very far, so i like hearing about big get togethers. Lisette, did you get your hairs cut? it looks cute whatever you did!

Nope, no haircut just a good hair day, which usually does not fall on Sunday for some reason. We only carry our luggage on, so I was without hairspray and only the ghetto hotel dryer. My hair just must prefer to be left alone, thanks for the compliment.
