The pizza place is called Waterfront Pizza, it really is just a hole in the wall with a teeny, tiny restaurant above and a take out place below. It reminded me of something you might find in NYC. Interestingly enough, the secret to their pizza is the sourdough crust. Now I am not ready to say it is the best pizza in Washington, but judging by the line the locals seem to dig it. While I enjoyed a slice of veggie pesto, Cameron stuck with his tried and true pepperoni. It is safe to say I not only out ordered him, but ended up with the bigger of the two slices. After window shopping, strolling the marina, eating our pizza and enjoying the art walk we drove over to Fort Worden.

We used to go to Waterfront Pizza all the time when I was growing up, followed by the Elevated Ice Cream Company. I haven't been in years - it's nice to know it is still there!
