Eight Mile Lake trailhead, but have never ventured up it. Curious what the lake looked like and how the trail might be we decided to take it. We figured Eight Mile Lake was most likely an eight mile hike, we set out late in the day up the trail. We encountered beautiful wildflowers and as much as I loathe any amount of stopping while heading up a trail, I could not help myself from capturing all the beauty. We timed our hike just right, so the majority of people we saw were heading out just as we headed in.
One of my favorite things to do while hiking, is name and point out all the wildflowers to Cameron. He was very patient as I pointed out each and every hint of Fall I saw.
