Am I that complicated????

Do I lead a misunderstood life? Sometimes I think that is the case. I can think of countless times where people do not even bother to try to say my name, like a few weeks ago when I boarded the plane and I heard “thank you Mike, thank you Sandra, thank you John, thank you miss”. Miss, miss or even worse sometimes it is just ma’am. She could not pronounce my name so she did not even try. Oh well. Then right behind me it back to her normal routine as if I would not paid heed “thank you Cameron”. Whatever. People are lame-o. Or how about when I was majoring in Speech communication and everyone thought it was speech pathology or back when I worked at Eddie Bauer and everyone thought I worked at corporate. Nope. Or even now being an interior designer, people think all I do is run around picking out pillows and tassels. Nope. Wrong again. I guess I do not blame people, but am I really that complicated??? Maybe I should change my name to Jane and become something easy to understand like a pharmacist at my favorite store of course- Target. Just had to get that one of my chest. Here is picture of a typical work day, no tassels included-unless they are on my shoes.

I did not have a written consent form ready for him to sign so that he could be in the picture :)

I think your name is supercute. it's very posh and European-sounding.

also, from what i have heard, your job sounds really fun.

but, in the event that you do start working at target, please give me a discount, because i buy clothes and toilet paper there.

Thanks,

E.

If it makes you feel any better, I am totally jealous of your job. More often then not, this is what it looks like on my living room floor. Only I don't really know what I am doing....
