My whole family (excluding my brother who had to work) went to the beach for a nice, long, relaxing three day weekend. The highlights were as follows (depends on who you asked):
the food, the company, finding sand dollars, walking along the beach, the cute cottages, fireworks on the beach, the comfy mattresses and the heated toilet seat...yes I said heated, we like to celebrate in style. Most notably we competed in the 3rd Annual Illumination Porch Decorating Competition and won 2nd place, we are determined to come back next year and take first place!! As my wise seven year old niece said while we were decorating, "it does not matter if we win, it is just about having fun. " We had a great time and wish we were still there. Happy Fourth of July to all, this was one to remember.
