Homemade tokens of love

I have always preferred giving a handmade card to a store bought one. I find it inspiring to come up with my own design each year. For Valentine's day Cameron and I have made it a tradition to exchange homemade valentines. Do you have any valentine traditions?

So cute! I remember doing this in elementary school and thought it was the funnest craft project ever. We make and decorate heart shaped sugar cookies and Ding Dong Ditch them on porches of people (usually family) we love.

Oh, and I meant to let you know I tagged you on my blog today as a good-looking site. If you hate awards and don't want to accept, it won't offend me in the least. Accepting awards takes SO much time. But I put you out there in case others are trying to find a nice looking blog. Yours is one of the more cool ones I've found.

I love this card!!!! Darling! We used to do the commercial holiday but now we just spend time together at home, find a fun valentines dinner to make, make cards and play games. I like it much better than the spending money on something that is not from the heart.
