Oftentimes Fall hiking gets cut short by an early snowfall which then usually does not melt until late Spring. We took advantage of the brisk weather and clear trails by heading up to Snow Lake for the last time this season. Next time we go up, we will probably have snow shoes strapped to our feet. I cannot wait, I just love tromping around in the snow!
Red berries and snow in the distant mountain peaks reminds me that Winter is very near.
