Anyone who knows me knows how much I love shoes, but the first day you wear them is always extra special. Cameron and I both had such a day not too long ago. We were waiting for the right day to wear our new shoes. Since the grass kind of hides my shoes, here is better shot of them in all their cuteness.
Much to my delight an artist wrote a whole song about the greatest of wearing new shoes. Here it is:
"Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It so inviting,

But long on time,
Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,
And I'm running late,
And I dont need an excuse,
'cause I'm wearing my brand new shoes."
